'Pandataria' by Candidaterra is a skilful blend of Fiano, Greco and Falanghina that comes from the tiny island of Ventote, in Lazio. Balanced white wine, with a strong flavor and light scents of aromatic herbs. When tasted, it presents sensations of freshness and minerality, with hints of peach and citrus. The original organoleptic profile is the result of the unique characteristics acquired by the grapes that grow on tuffaceous soils of volcanic origin and which are refreshed by the savory and uncontaminated sea winds, as well as ripened by the hot Mediterranean sun. Excellent to accompany, appetizers, risottos and dishes based on fish, shellfish.

The company was founded in 2013 with the firm will to revive the viticulture business in Ventotene which for centuries has produced wine excellence and which was then unfortunately abandoned due to the depopulation of the island and the flight of young people from agriculture
Its vineyards, at the moment, extend over an area of 2 hectares which, for a very small island like Ventotene, which overall develops just 189, is already a rarity.
Candidaterra is a family-run farm that allows Luigi to personally take care of the entire production cycle, with the help of Dr. Vincenzo Mercurio, a highly regarded winemaker at national level.
The name Candidaterra comes from the Patroness of Ventotene, Santa Candida, and is also the adjective with which the company indicates the sacred respect for the earth, which is reflected in the ban on the use of pesticides, insecticides and polluting chemicals of any generally, in full compliance with the rules governing the Natural Reserve of the islands of Ventotene and Santo Stefano.
