ODR - online dispute resolution for consumers

From 1.9.2016 came into force on the EU Regulation No. 524/2013 on the "online dispute resolution for consumers."

The purpose of the Regulations ODR (online dispute resolution) is to provide a resolution effective, transparent, non-partisan, and fast right disputes online. Such disputes may arise from Cross-border online sale of goods or the provision of services within the European Union.

The aim of the Regulation is to be achieved through the creation an online platform for resolving disputes (platform ODR) at EU level and cooperation with the relevant national bodies.
