Etsu stands for 'pleasure' in Japanese. This is one of the first Japanese Gin in Italy. Distilled in Hokkaido following a secret Asian recipe using different Japanese botanicals (berries, peppers, teas and fresh citrus fruits from the Japanese islands) including the YUZU which dominates this floral gin. Yuzu is a small, particularly fragrant Japanese citrus with a persistent taste.
The Sennichi Kakoi by Fukumitsuya is a sake for connoisseurs. Aged for over 3 years at low temperatures and produced with 100% Yamada Nishiki rice, it combines beautifully with foods suitable for a celebration (such as uni, crab, duck, roast pork). The aging techniques used bring out depth, richness and softness in the sake in a spectacular way.
The Kuroobi Junmai Daiginjo 'Do-Do' by Fukumitsuya is a sake created by the traditional 'Yamahai' skill: thanks to the natural fermentation it translates into an earthy and intensely complex sake. Matsui Single Malt The Peated by Kurayoshi is a peaty Japanese whiskey aged in ex-bourbon American white oak barrels before being bottled at 48% without the addition of dyes. The water used for the dilution comes from the sources of Mount Daisen. The limited edition package is inspired by the work of the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai and his most famous work, "The Great Wave of Kanagawa", painted between 1830 and 1831 with ukiyo-e woodblock technique. Bouquet of barley malt, earthy peat and aromatic herbs with hints of cocoa and vanilla. Taste: peat smoke envelops the notes of apple, ginger, vanilla and brown sugar. Medium persistence finish, the smoke continues to accompany us followed by notes of grilled pineapple, apple, vanilla and oak.
White Rum 'Kiyomi' by Helios Distillery (Kiyomi means "pure beauty" in Japanese) was carefully prepared in Nago City, Okinawa, by the Helios Distillery by distilling fermented sugarcane juice, giving it a certain resemblance to the Agricole style. Bottling is fermented for 30 days, producing a fruity quality and distilled in a double column. It rests for 6 months in steel tanks to ensure purity and consistency. An excellent white rum with notes of sweet cornbread, herbs, salt, white syrup, a little cucumber, a touch of ash wood, pineapple, banana and ripe strawberries.
Rum 'Teeda' 5 Years by Helios Distillery (Teeda means "sun" in okiwanense) was carefully prepared in Nago City, Okinawa, by the Helios distillery. It is an artisanal rum aged in ex-bourbon Japanese white oak barrels. Spice Rum of intense sweetness, a bouquet of cinnamon, caramel and candied sugar on the palate, and a finish in maple syrup.
