The 'Plus' Venezia Giulia IGT, Cru range, was born from a single vineyard with screws of over 60 years, on top of a beautifully exposed hill, the best example of Bastianich native Friulan. 10% of the grapes are subjected to a drying period to further concentrate the fruit note of the old vines. The equivalent of a White Amarone.
The Merlot 'Vigne 50 Anni' by Le Vigne di Zamò is made after a careful selection in the old vineyards: the Merlot grapes are macerated in truncated conical wooden vats for a period of 20 days. Then followed by racking, traditional pressing of the marc and decanting in barriques. After approx. 18 months the wine is bottled and aged for another 2 years in the bottle. An excellent Merlot.
'Lis' Venezia Giulia IGT by Lis Neris is a Reserve, fruit of an extreme selection. A vertex wine, unique, capable of expressing the balance between the vines and the place of production. The 'Gris' Friuli Isonzo DOC, Selezioni line, by Lis Neris is a pure Pinot Grigio coming from a single 'historic' vineyard where the vines have all reached the maturity of production. Fermentation and maturation takes place in 500 liter French oak barrels (tonneau) to increase their aromatic breadth without changing their original characteristics.
Sauvignon Blanc 'Archètipi' by Puiatti is made from vineyards located in the heart of Friuli, whose grapes, a mix of French clones and the famous Friulian R3, are harvested and selected by hand. Ribolla Gialla 'Rjgialla' by La Tunella is one of the most famous expressions of Ribolla Gialla, a typical grape of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Friulano by La Tunella is made in the Colli Orientali del Friuli and is a great wine with a finely harmonious, floral and fruity aroma, with a typical note reminiscent of bitter almond, pear, wildflowers, acacia. 'Col Matiss' Cru line by La Tunella is made within the DOC of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, one of the most important wine-growing areas in the entire region. This pure Sauvignon is prepared with the best grapes and then subjected to a slow fermentation and aging "sur lies" at a controlled temperature with frequent batonnage in large Slavonian oak barrels (30 hl). A period of rest and refinement in the bottle follows. The nose is rich and detailed aromatic with elegant vegetal and fruity notes. Delicate sapidity that enhances the aromas and gives its contribution to the vibrant acidity. Pignolo by La Tunella is an intense and structured wine, obtained from the vinification of the autochthonous red grape variety of the same name. In recent decades, with the renewed interest in native varieties, it has found space in the vineyard, with clones recovered from some old vines of the Rosazzo Abbey. The long aging in wood, at least 4 years and a further year in the bottle, allows the wine to sweeten and present an intense, rich sip, with evolved and complex aromas. The bouquet expresses aromas of soft spices, red fruit jam, fruit in alcohol, hints of humus and undergrowth, hints of bitter cocoa and tobacco. Important body, dense and complex aromas, which accompany the sip towards a fresh and very persistent finish. Excellent accompaniment to meat dishes.
Schioppettino by La Tunella is made from a vine of certain indigenous origin of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, also called Ribolla Nera. The grapes, after having undergone an extreme thinning on the plant in June, are strictly hand-picked and placed in small boxes for a light drying. The must is left to ferment with indigenous yeasts in contact with the skins for about 20 days. During this phase, pumping over is frequent to favor the passage of color and noble components. After racking, the wine will rest in 5 hl French oak tonneaux for about two years. Last right period of rest and refinement in the bottle. Red with a perfect balance between spicy notes and overall softness.
