Champagne Brut 'RSRV Cuvee Lalou' 2006 (750 ml. gift box) - G.H. Mumm
The champagne "RSRV Cuvée Lalou" by G.H. Mumm is made only in the years in which the maison considers the quality to justify the production of this vintage, the chef de caves Didier Mariotti selects which chardonnay and pinot noir grapes from seven different Grand Crus can contribute to making the Cuvée. Each plot is worked separately, to then be left to mature in cask for a total of 10 years. Thus, an elegant and complex Brut is born, in which the aromatic nose is elegant, a prelude to a precise and sharp sip, always incisive. One bottle for special evenings.

THE MAISON
The Maison G.H. Mumm was officially born in 1827 with the opening of a branch in Reims by the Mumm brothers even though it has much older roots, given that the history of the family's progenitor, Peter Arnold Mumm, originated in 1761 in Cologne. Today G.H. Mumm has 218 hectares of which 160 are classified as Grand Crus, the best terroirs of the Champagne region. and in particular from eight historic villages: Aÿ, Bouzy, Ambonnay, Verzy, Verzenay, Mailly, Avize and Cramant. In 1920 René Lalou became a member of the Board of Directors of the Maison Mumm. A far-sighted personality, Lalou places quality and territory at the center of the company's development. In its continuous search for consistency in quality, Mumm has introduced model practices such as the installation of presses directly in the vineyards to avoid damaging the grapes during transport. Distinguished royal families were conquered over the decades by the Champagne of this Maison and today is the official supplier of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as attested by the Royal Warrant which adorns the neck of its bottle with the red ribbon, the Cordon Rouge, which instead celebrates the awarding of the Legion of Honor and this quality is always at the center of every step as the motto introduced by Georges Hermann Mumm "Only the best" says.

The Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs "RSRV" is made by G.H. Mumm starting exclusively from chardonnay grapes grown in the Grand Cru of Cramant, inside the Côte des Blancs, a terroir that belongs to the maison starting in 1882. In this area, rich in a chalky subsoil, we find the ideal climatic conditions for the chardonnay can express itself on excellent levels, telling itself with elegance and freshness. It remains on the lees in the bottle for a minimum of 3 years, and has a final dosage of 6 grams per liter. A limited edition label, excellent with shellfish, molluscs and fish main courses.

The champagne "RSRV Cuvée 4.5" by G.H. Mumm is a blend with unique traits, born from the assembly of pinot noir and chardonnay grapes grown in 5 terroirs owned by the maison classified as Grand Crus and aged in cask for at least 4 years - hence the name chosen for Cuvèe, “4.5 "-. The pinot noir gives strength and structure to the final blend, while the chardonnay gives that essential trait of elegance and vivacity to the sip. Produced in limited quantities, it is a Champagne Brut that is appreciated for its refinement and for the harmonious complexity that dominates the entire tasting.
