The Champagne Blanc de Blancs Millesimé from Deutz is one of the most representative champagnes of the house, produced since 1965. It is made from pure Chardonnay grapes. The wine remains in contact with its own yeasts for 48 months. It has a very elegant, round, and enveloping character, with a pleasantly evolved aromatic profile, capable of maturing for years in the bottle. It emits pleasant notes of white flowers, exotic fruit, and citrus. A bubbly that, given its personality, is recommended to be tasted during fish-based dinners. One of the most important labels in the range produced by the winery.

Deutz

In the heart of the French Champagne region, in Aÿ, stands the prestigious Maison Deutz, a symbol of elegance and tradition that has its roots in a rich history and passion. Founded in 1838, Deutz is synonymous with excellence and refinement, a name that shines among the most illustrious Champagne producers. Here, among sun-kissed vineyards and a unique terroir, a production takes shape that celebrates the art of balance and persistence.
The Champagne hills, with their chalky soils and temperate climate, provide an ideal habitat for growing the region's signature grapes: the noble Pinot Noir, the refined Chardonnay, and the versatile Pinot Meunier. Deutz, with an approach that skillfully blends tradition and innovation, meticulously dedicates itself to the selection and winemaking of these varieties, creating harmonious cuvées of great finesse.
Among the labels that best represent the spirit of Deutz, the Brut Classic stands out, a Champagne that enchants with its freshness and perfect balance between fruit and minerality. Alongside it, the Amour de Deutz, a true declaration of love for the terroir, is characterized by its crystalline purity and extraordinary aromatic persistence. Each bottle signed by Deutz is a sensory journey that tells the very essence of Champagne, a luxury to savor on every special occasion.
Let yourself be enveloped by the magic of Deutz wines and discover on Vino45 the timeless elegance of a tradition that continues to enchant generation after generation.

THE WINE
The Champagne Blanc de Blancs Millesimé by Deutz is one of the most representative champagnes of the house, produced since 1965. It is made from pure Chardonnay grapes. THE VINEYARD
Selection of the best grapes from the house coming from Côte des Blancs and from Avize, Le-Mesnil, and Villers-Marmery.
THE HOUSE
The House Deutz was founded in 1838 in Ay, in the Champagne region, by William Deutz and Pierre Geldermann. Coming from Aachen, the two settled in Ay and opened a small wine shop. Firmly determined to produce great wines from a particularly suited vineyard, they purchased a first parcel of land in 1838 and began to produce grapes, vinifying them in their cellar. William Deutz, who had previously worked for Bollinger, contributed his experience in grape cultivation and vinification, while Pierre Geldermann handled the financial and commercial aspects of the House. In the following years, the House Deutz was forced to sell 63% of its ownership to Louis Roederer, following some failed investments in New Zealand and the United States. Over time, the House Deutz expanded by acquiring new crus, both in the surroundings of Ay and in the Cote des Blancs, and annually produces about 600,000 bottles of excellent Champagne. However, the owned vineyards are not enough to provide the necessary quantity of grapes, so Deutz turns to local growers with proven expertise capable of ensuring impeccable quality of their product. With the advent of Louis Roederer, the winery has been completely renovated and modernized: the musts ferment in steel tanks, each of which carefully notes the parcel from which the grapes come. Afterwards, the wines are allowed to rest in the completely underground cellar, which reaches up to 60 meters below ground level. The production process of all the champagnes of the House takes place under the control and responsibility of Fabrice Rosset.
