Champagne icon of De Saint Gall, the cuvée 'Orpale' is made exclusively from Chardonnay sourced from four villages of the Côte des Blancs classified as 'Grand Cru': Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Cramant, Avize, and Oger. The vintage 2008 is presented in a sober, elegant, and environmentally friendly box. A complex and elegant blanc de blancs. It rests for about 144 months on the lees before disgorgement. A brilliant golden wine with fine bubbles that opens with notes of citrus, candied lemon, and yellow fruits, then evolves into smoky notes of white tobacco and toasted nuts. Fresh and persistent, it is a Champagne capable of leaving a lasting impression. Naturally, it will have a special place on the table, served during aperitifs or gourmet dishes.

THE HOUSE

A historic and important brand, De Saint Gall is a unique expression among all the Champagne houses. Founded in 1972, this entity encompasses about 1258 hectares of vineyards and around 1860 families of vignerons. More than half of the vineyards are classified as Grand Cru, and this small detail has established from the beginning the conditions for De Saint Gall to be a brand of fame and success through its quality products. There are more than ten production and grape collection centers, and each plot in every village is vinified separately. Countless are the reserve wines and possible combinations that each year the chef de cave has at their disposal to present cutting-edge products with great impact on the market. A renowned and well-known cellar that will impress the taster with its wide range and significant vintages.
