The Brut Nature champagne 'Tradition' by Lelarge Pugeot is organic and is a cuvée of Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay from Premier Cru classified vineyards in the village of Vrigny in the Montagne de Reims. This cuvée ages on the lees for at least 3 years, after a 6-month period in oak barrels. It has a bouquet of fresh citrus and orange zest. The taste is soft, well-rounded, and creamy, balanced by good acidity. It is an ideal champagne for rich and tasty appetizers, exquisite dinners featuring fish, Sushi, and Sashimi.

THE HOUSE

The Lelarge family has a long-standing relationship with the Champagne region (18th century) and particularly with the terroirs of Vrigny, a production enclave just a few kilometers from Reims. In 1987, Dominique Lelarge took control of the family Maison and, by marrying Dominique Pugeot, changed the company's name to Lelarge Pugeot. Currently, the company owns about 9 hectares in the municipalities of Vrigny, Gueux, and Coulommes-la-Montagne. This area, predominantly planted with Pinot Meunier (80% of the vineyards), was classified as Premier Cru in 2003. The Lelarge family has been working with sustainability in mind since the late 1980s and obtained Organic certification in 2010; at the end of 2012, the conversion to Biodynamic farming began.
