The Single Malt Scotch Whisky 'Unnamed Orkney' 2006 14 Years from The Ultimate Whisky Company presents quite sharply with notes of heather and dried fruit, typical of the Orkney Islands. Very dry on the palate with meaty Sherry notes amplified. It is best enjoyed with a splash of water and a bit of patience to become very engaging, slightly peaty, and seductive. Aged 14 years in ex-Sherry casks, it is bottled without chill filtration to maintain all the original flavors. No caramel is added, so the color always corresponds to the original cask. As the casks are different each time, the character of the product may change continuously. Each bottle is numbered, and all details of the cask are mentioned on the label. Only 940 bottles produced.
