Greco del Sannio DOP 'Pietralata Janare' 2024 (750 ml.) La Guardiense

An expression of strong territorial identity, Greco ‘Pietralata’ by La Guardiense is crafted from 12 hectares of selected vineyards in the Sannio Beneventano, located between 120 and 400 meters above sea level, on complex soils of marl, sand, and gravel. The vines, with an average age of 10 years, are harvested between late September and early October. A short cryomaceration and gentle pressing precede fermentation in stainless steel at low temperatures for about 20 daysMalolactic fermentation is not carried out, preserving acidity and vibrancy. The wine ages in bottle until April. It shows a deep straw yellow color; the nose offers mineral tones, peach, white pepper, and flint. On the palate, it is rich, dynamic, and enveloping, with a long and savory finish. Perfect with shellfish, seafood pasta, grilled vegetables, and white meats. A precise white, born of a unique terroir.
