The 'Prail' from Colterenzio is made using historic vineyards and this Sauvignon Blanc is produced after careful vinification in steel for about 14 days. Only a portion of the must ferments in large wooden vats, while the rest remains in steel. After 6 months of separate maturation on fine lees, the wines are blended and bottled with care. It is a characteristic wine, a perfect example of the great white wines of South Tyrol. Unmistakable elegance and a satisfying fullness releasing aromas of elderflowers, hawthorn, and white fruits. Refreshingly crisp with a subtle mineral aftertaste. Particularly suited for dishes based on asparagus and an ideal pairing for fish prepared with aromatic herbs. Excellent also as an aperitif.

Colterenzio
In the enchanting setting of Trentino-Alto Adige, where the mountains touch the sky and the climate becomes a perfect ally for viticulture, lies the winery Colterenzio. A name that embodies the strength and passion of a unique cooperative, capable of uniting local winemakers under the banner of quality and respect for the land. Here, among the vineyards that climb the slopes of the Alps, the wines come to life, telling stories of tradition and innovation.
Colterenzio stands out in the wine landscape of Alto Adige for its ability to enhance the climatic and varietal peculiarities of the area, producing wines that faithfully reflect the identity of the territory. The winery pays particular attention to both indigenous and international grapes, such as the refined Gewürztraminer, the vibrant Sauvignon, and the elegant Pinot Noir, each cultivated with meticulous attention to detail.
Among the most celebrated labels, the Pinot Noir and Sauvignon shine, two wines that perfectly embody the spirit of Colterenzio. The Pinot Noir is distinguished by its refined structure and aromatic bouquet that ranges from berries to delicate spicy notes, while the Sauvignon surprises with its intense aromas of citrus and white flowers, accompanied by exceptional freshness on the palate.
Let yourself be enveloped by the magic of Colterenzio wines, an authentic expression of Trentino-Alto Adige. Discover their labels on Vino45 and embark on a sensory journey through a territory rich in history and unique flavors.

THE COMPANY
Archduke Sigismund, resident at Castel Firmiano in the 15th century, was not the first to appreciate the good wine from Colterenzio. In fact, around 15 BC, the Roman colonist Cornelius recognized the extraordinary fertility of this land and decided to settle here, thus laying the foundations of the current winemaking vocation of Colterenzio. His estate "Cornelianum," which gave its name to the village of Cornaiano, stood on a hill not far away. The ancient tradition was renewed in 1960, when 28 winemakers founded the Colterenzio Winery. Over the years, others joined them, and today Colterenzio counts nearly 300 passionate winemaker members who supply grapes from about 300 hectares of vineyards they own.
