Chianti Classico DOCG 'Tenuta Perano' 2022 (750 ml.) Frescobaldi

Born from vineyards located at 500 meters s.l.m. in the hills of Gaiole in Chianti, this Chianti Classico 'Tenuta Perano' by Frescobaldi best expresses the elegance of altitude. The grapes, predominantly Sangiovese, ripen on soils rich in skeleton, ensuring excellent drainage and aromatic concentration. The manual harvest is followed by vinification in stainless steel at controlled temperature, with skin maceration to extract aromas and structure. The aging takes place in oak barrels for about 12 months, followed by a resting period in the bottle. Visually, it is bright ruby red. The olfactory profile offers ripe red fruits, violet, black pepper, and balsamic notes. On the palate, it is fresh, balanced, with fine tannins and a persistent finish. A Chianti Classico of great typicity, ideal with roasts, game, and aged cheeses.

Nestled in the wonderful Tuscan lands, where time seems to have stopped to celebrate the beauty of nature and winemaking art, the winery Frescobaldi tells a story that spans generations. It is one of the oldest wine families in Italy, with roots that dig deep into a past rich in tradition and innovation. With a presence that embraces the most prestigious denominations of Tuscany, such as DOCG Chianti, Brunello, and Bolgheri, Frescobaldi stands out for a modern approach that never forgets to respect the history and the terroir that surrounds it.

The estates of Frescobaldi are a mosaic of winemaking excellence, where each vineyard is nurtured with dedication and love for the land. Here, under the warm Tuscan sun, Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are born, each an expression of a unique territory and unparalleled savoir-faire. The production philosophy of Frescobaldi is a perfect balance between tradition and innovation, where ancient wisdom blends with the most modern winemaking techniques to create wines with distinctive and unmistakable character.

Among the labels that make up the prestigious portfolio of Frescobaldi, the Nipozzano and CastelGiocondo stand out, two wines that embody the essence of Tuscany. The Nipozzano, with its enveloping structure and intense aromas, is the perfect companion for those wishing to explore the depth of Tuscan wines. The CastelGiocondo, on the other hand, is a Brunello di Montalcino with a refined and complex character, capable of narrating, sip by sip, the magic of a legendary territory.
