The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva from Lisini grows in the estates located between the municipalities of Sesta and Sant’Angelo in Colle, which host the spectacular rows of Sangiovese tended by the Lisini – Clementi family since 1846. The strategic position of the vineyards exposed to the marine currents of Maremma creates a unique microclimate ideal for the growth of Sangiovese. This Riserva is a great excellence with a classic and traditional style. It has an alluring color, enveloping aromas of cocoa, leather, and noble woods, a warm taste with notes of black cherry and ripe cherry, full-bodied with a slightly austere tannin that makes it perfect for pairing with roasted meat dishes and lamb.

THE WINE
The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva by Lisini grows in the estates located between the municipalities of Sesta and Sant’Angelo in Colle, which host the spectacular rows of Sangiovese that have been cared for by the Lisini – Clementi family since 1846. The strategic position of the vineyards exposed to the marine currents of the Maremma creates a very particular microclimate ideal for the growth of Sangiovese. This Riserva is a great excellence with a classic and traditional style. Alluring color, enveloping aromas of cocoa, leather, and noble woods, warm taste with notes of sour cherry and ripe cherry, full-bodied with a slightly austere tannin that makes it perfect for pairing with roasted meat dishes and lamb.
THE COMPANY
It is very difficult to pinpoint the founding date of the Lisini Agricultural Company; in fact, one must go back to the 16th century to find the first traces in the family documents. Since then, through various generations, the activity and ownership of the Company have been passed down from father to son, with the only exception being at the end of the 19th century when Alessandro Lisini did not dedicate his life to agriculture, but to study and politics. His son Lodovico, on the other hand, did not follow in his father's footsteps and returned to nature, giving new impetus to the production of Brunello.
The beating heart of the company, cellars and offices, is located 8 kilometers from the center of Montalcino, in the hamlet of Sant’Angelo in Colle. The ancient farmhouse, where the Company is based, is surrounded by 154 hectares of land, 20 of which are covered by vineyards; the eocene soil, fresh and porous, the cool sea breezes that come from the nearby Maremma to temper the climate, and the absolute absence of fog create the ideal environmental conditions for the production of Sangiovese Grosso, the only grape variety present in the vineyards, which gives us this wonderful wine that is the Brunello di Montalcino signed by Lisini.
