The Cabernet Sauvignon Realda 2020 Veneto IGT by Anselmi is the winery’s only red wine label, a rare gem in a land dominated by Garganega. It comes from a single hillside vineyard on volcanic and limestone soils, with 18 months of maturation in French oak barriques enhancing structure and elegance. The wine shows deep garnet hues, reveals fruity, floral, and spicy aromas with toasted nuances, and offers a soft, enveloping palate sustained by velvety tannins and fresh acidity, long and persistent on the finish. Excellent with fine red meats, game, and aged cheeses.

THE COMPANY
The Anselmi Winery is located in Monteforte d'Alpone, a small town in the province of Verona, nestled among spectacular hills. In this suggestive place, winemaker Roberto Anselmi, with the help of his children, leads the company and its 70 hectares of calcareous and volcanic tuff land, situated at the highest hilly point of Monteforte and Soave. The most cultivated grape variety is garganega, a typical white grape of the territory, to which are added small quantities of chardonnay, trebbiano di Soave, and a small vineyard of cabernet sauvignon. The company's philosophy and the choices made by Roberto Anselmi have allowed this small winery to position itself at the top of wine quality in the Soave area.
