The Champagne AOC Brut Nature “L’Oubliée” by Roger Barnier is a Solera cuvée or réserve perpétuelle, started with the 2005 harvest and enriched each year with new base wines from the Perrier, Les Bas Jardin and Clos Prieursparcels. The blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir ages partly in barriques and partly in steel, with at least 24 months on the lees and 4 months after disgorgement. The bouquet shows notes of pastry, straw and white-fleshed fruit, with mineral and citrus nuances. On the palate: fullness, freshness and softness, with verticality and persistence. A Brut Nature of authentic style, perfect as a gourmet aperitif or with raw seafood, shellfish and refined fish dishes.
