Champagne AOC Brut 'Selection' (750 ml.) Roger Barnier

The Champagne AOC Brut “Selection” by Roger Barnier, a non-vintage cuvée, is produced in Sézanne, Marne Valley, from 58% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Noir, 32% Pinot Meunier. Reserve red grapes age in steel, while Chardonnay matures in barrique, with at least 24 months on lees and 4 months after disgorgement. In the glass: fine, persistent perlage, aromas of crisp apple, white flowers, fresh herbs, yeast. On the palate: harmonious, creamy, vibrant, with citrus freshness, marked Chardonnay minerality, softened by ageing, and a long fruity finish. Perfect as an elegant aperitif, excellent with oysters, seafood carpaccio, shellfish, delicate dishes.
