Champagne Brut 'Vintage' by Pol Roger is the result of the maximum selection and exaltation of a specific vintage, which is vinified as a vintage only in the presence of optimal conditions. It is made up of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. These grapes come from 20 plots, all classified as Grand Cru or Premier Cru, located in the Montagne de Reims area and in the Côte des Blancs. Refine on the lees for more than 8 years. Elegance and delicacy combined with intense complexity, fresh hints of citrus and sweet and dried fruit. Creamy and full, soft and fresh. Ideal with fish-based dishes.

Maison Pol Roger, located at 44 Avenue de Champagne in the French commune of Epernay, is located in what British politician Winston Churchill has defined as "the most delicious and drinkable address in the world".

Born around the second half of the nineteenth century, in 1849 to be exact, the winery owes its name to its namesake founder, the scion of a famous family of notaries. Based on precise, rigorous and well-defined strategies, from the very beginning Pol Roger chose to specialize in the production of Champagne Brut Vintage, highly suited to aging, which immediately met numerous appreciations and particular favors in enthusiasts and lovers of the genre. , French and more.

Today remained one of the very few maison still led by the family of origin, Pol Roger continues to firmly pursue those who from the beginning have been the steadfast leaders that have constituted the company philosophy: to select and vinify only the best grapes of chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier, in order to obtain wines, and then cuvées, which are able to celebrate the maximum excellence of what is Champagne with its sparkling wines.

It is in this way that for over a century and a half the Maison has been developing and distributing an excellent and varied range of Champagnes, which have been extolled over time by illustrious personalities, such as Winston Churchill, to whom Pol Roger herself has dedicated a prestigious cuvée, formerly called White Foil while today better known as Cuvée Churchill. Characterized by gentleness and softness, all Champagnes labeled Pol Roger are obtained from wines that have undergone the malolactic fermentation process, during which the malic acid, hard, strong and angular, by means of bacteria is transformed into lactic acid, more soft, velvety and delicate, consequently giving wines that stand out for the breadth of aromas, elegance and refinement.
