Born in the captivating Mediterranean setting of Pantelleria, Pantelleria Bianco DOC “Isesi” by Pellegrino is the result of a project launched in the 1990s by the historic Marsala-based family in close partnership with local growers. Made from 100% Zibibbo grapes, grown as alberello pantesco in Sibà, Mueggen, Barone, and Khamma, the vines thrive on volcanic, iron-rich soils at 300 meters above sea level. Harvested by hand in early September, the grapes undergo gentle pressing and slow fermentation at low temperatures in stainless steel, followed by 12 months of aging on fine lees. The bouquet is intense and distinctive, with notes of caper flower, green apple, white peach, jasmine, and sage. On the palate, it is dry, savory, and persistent, perfectly balanced between freshness and softness. A white wine of great character, ideal with shellfish, fish couscous, and spiced dishes.

Color: Bright and brilliant straw yellow, crossed by light golden reflections that underline its structure and maturation.
Bouquet: Intense and varied, dominated by notes of orange blossom, dried apricot and citrus peel, to which are added nuances of Mediterranean herbs and hints of iodine. The typical aroma of Zibibbo emerges with elegance, maintaining a fine and never invasive register.
Taste: Dry, balanced and savoury, with a pleasant structure that envelops the sip. The citrus freshness balances the softness, while the aromatic persistence recalls the floral and fruity notes perceived on the nose. It closes with a clean and saline finish, which recalls the minerality of the volcanic soils of Pantelleria.
