Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva 'Costasera' di Masi is a wine that is proud, majestic, complex, and exuberant, a special selection of the famous Costasera, defined as the gentle giant of Masi. It is an absolute benchmark for Amaroni, which, along with Barolo and Brunello, represents the aristocracy of Italian reds. The result of a long experience in Appassimento, the grapes Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, and the original Oseleta (rediscovered by Masi) are overripe on bamboo racks for about 120 days, concentrating aromas and structure. It is then aged for at least 3 years in noble oak woods, resulting in extraordinary richness. It offers a warm and enveloping sip, with notes of cherries in spirits, cocoa, and sweet spices. Ideal with braises, game, aged cheeses, or dishes based on truffles, but also perfect for contemplation.

Bouquet: Wide, deep, and layered. At first nose, notes of cherry in spirits, ripe blackberry, and dehydrated plum emerge, followed by sweet spicy notes (cinnamon, vanilla, star anise), dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and blonde tobacco. A complex olfactory evolution with balsamic hints and noble wood.
Taste: On the palate, it is full, warm, and enveloping, with soft and integrated tannins, well-integrated residual sweetness, and a surprising freshness that supports the balance. THE COMPANY

Veneto is one of the most vocated regions from a winemaking perspective in all of Italy. A varied and multifaceted territory, always buzzing with emerging production realities alongside historic and prestigious names. Among these, one cannot fail to mention the winery Masi, a family business for seven generations belonging to the Boscaini family since the late 18th century, but which today represents one of the most important and authoritative Italian wine brands in the world.
