Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 'Campolongo di Torbe' by Masi is the most aristocratic and refined wine from the Boscaini Private Cellar. Made from grapes of Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara, sourced from the homonymous cru, famous since the 12th century for its microclimatic characteristics and basaltic and tuff soils, it represents the essence of the art of Appassimento. The grapes are hand-picked and left to dry for about 120 days, then vinified slowly and aged for over 3 years in oak barrels, followed by a long rest in the bottle. The result is a wine of undisputed class, with notes of black cherry, dried figs, cocoa, and oriental spices, extraordinarily velvety and deep. The handwritten label highlights the precious and unique character of this Amarone, endowed with an incredible aging potential. Ideal with wild game, braised dishes, and aged cheeses.

Color: Intense garnet red with ruby reflections. Clear and consistent, it suggests a great structure.
Bouquet: Wide, deep, and layered. Distinct notes of cherry in alcohol, dried plum, bitter cocoa, tobacco, sweet spices (vanilla, cinnamon), leather, and licorice stand out. With evolution, balsamic hints and aromatic herbs also emerge. Olfactory complexity of a great aging wine.
