The Venezia Giulia Rosso IGT “N. 3” 2019 by Bressan is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Schioppettino, combining international elegance with Friulian tradition. After long skin maceration, it ages 20 days in barriques, 12 months in large casks, and 15 months in bottle, gaining great complexity. The nose shows blackberry, wild berries, earthy and green notes. On the palate, it is structured and fresh, with marked acidity and integrated tannins. The dry, slightly spicy finish enhances its expressive character. Perfect with red meats, game, and aged cheeses, it balances conviviality with elegance and authenticity.

The IGT Venezia Giulia designation is the stage on which Bressan showcases its wine spectacle, a sensory journey rooted in ancient practices and uncompromising methods.
The production philosophy of Bressan is a hymn to nature and craftsmanship. Each glass is the result of a process that respects the natural cycle, where the hand of man guides wisely and sensitively. The grapes, including the distinctive Schioppettino and the refined Pinot Grigio, are cultivated using traditional methods, without invasive interventions, to preserve the essence of the terroir and the purity of varietal expression.
The wines of Bressan are a symphony of character and complexity. THE COMPANY

Fulvio Bressan is an unconventional winemaker from Friuli who categorically rejects the fleeting and homogenizing trends that abound in the wine world, proudly following a niche production vision aimed at offering the truest expression of the Isonzo territory. The ancient winemaking roots of the Bressan family date back to the 18th century, while the recent affirmation is due to Fulvio L. Bressan, the ninth generation of “master winemakers” and current owner, who has successfully led the winery in Farra d’Isonzo to worldwide recognition. For the estate's logo, the Bressan family has taken their family crest, featuring the ankh cross at its center.
Within the approximately 20 hectares of vineyards owned, on soils made up of layers of gravel laid over clays and sandstone marls, Fulvio Bressan cultivates indigenous and international varieties such as Friulano, Verduzzo, Ribolla Gialla, Istrian Malvasia, Schioppettino, Pignolo, Moscato Rosa, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines are cultivated according to a truly sustainable and conscientious viticulture, which excludes the use of synthetic chemicals and requires manual execution of agronomic operations, respecting the natural cycle of the vine. Harvesting is done only when the grapes have reached full maturity and is followed by spontaneous alcoholic fermentation of the musts in stainless steel tanks, in contact with the skins even for white grapes. The wine containers used for aging include stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels of various capacities and types, where the wines mature on the fine lees for an extended period until bottling, which is done without any prior filtration.
The wines from the Bressan winery represent true jewels of artisanal winemaking in Friuli, endowed with exemplary typicity born from a solid peasant culture. From orange wines to red wines, including the peculiar ‘Rosantico’, Fulvio Bressan's labels are unique expressions that reflect the strong personality of their creator.
