Barolo DOCG 'Bussia' 2020 (750 ml.) Ceretto

Barolo DOCG “Bussia” 2020 by Ceretto comes from the renowned cru in the Langhe, specifically from mid-slope parcels, the most prized for their elegance and complexity. Made from 100% Nebbiolo, organically farmed, it embodies depth and structure. Vinified in oak vats and aged for at least 24 months in large barrels, this wine reflects the essence of its terroir. The bouquet offers woodland notes, damp earth, spices, and ripe red fruit. On the palate, it is broad, flavorful, and enveloping, with well-integrated tannins and long persistence. A powerful Barolo, ideal with braised meats, game, tajarin with ragù, and aged cheeses – perfect for enhancing traditional Piedmontese cuisine. The 2020 vintage stands out for its balance and excellent aging potential.

Color: bright, intense and transparent garnet red, with orange reflections that are just beginning to emerge.

Bouquet: it opens elegantly on scents of undergrowth and damp earth, followed by deep hints of ripe cherry, currant, dried rose and spicy notes of black pepper, tobacco and licorice, well integrated with balsamic and slightly toasted hints.

Taste: broad, structured and enveloping. The entrance is tasty and decisive, supported by a dense tannic texture that, although young, appears well integrated and fine-grained. The sip stretches with balance, showing a lively acidic shoulder that gives momentum and a long persistence on notes of spices and dark fruit.
