Barolo DOCG “Bussia” 2020 by Ceretto is born in the homonymous cru, one of the most renowned in the Langhe, from plots located in the middle area, the most suited for elegance and complexity. From pure Nebbiolo grapes, cultivated with certified organic farming, a deep and structured wine is obtained. The vinification in oak vats and the aging of at least 24 months in large barrels enhance the identity of the terroir. On the nose, it releases undergrowth, moist earth, spices, and ripe red fruit. On the palate, it is wide, flavorful, enveloping, with integrated tannins and a long persistence. An important Barolo, ideal with braised meats, game, tajarin with ragù, and aged cheeses, perfect for enhancing traditional Piedmontese cuisine. The 2020 vintage is balanced, with excellent evolutionary potential.

Color: bright garnet red, intense and transparent, with orange reflections that just begin to emerge.
Bouquet: opens elegantly with scents of underbrush and damp earth, followed by deep notes of ripe cherry, currant, wilted rose, and spicy hints of black pepper, tobacco, and licorice, well integrated with balsamic and slightly toasted undertones.
Taste: broad, structured, and enveloping. The entry is flavorful and decisive, supported by a dense tannic texture that, while young, shows good integration and a fine grain. The sip unfolds with balance, showcasing a lively acidic backbone that lends momentum and a long persistence of spices and dark fruit notes.
