THE COMPANY

The winery Juris is located in the historic center of Gols. The Stiegelmar family has been growing wine since 1571. Today, Juris owns vineyards in the best locations in Gols. Over time, red wine has gained an increasingly important share of production and now represents 80% of the output. White wine and sweet wine are ideologically equally important but account for only 20% of production. Gols is situated on the North-East edge of Lake Neusiedl, in the warmest corner of Austria, with more hours of sunshine. This lake is the dominant climatic factor in the region. The Juris vineyard currently encompasses 18 hectares of vineyards. The variety level includes 80% red varieties, 15% white varieties, and 5% sweet varieties.
