Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Reserve by Giuseppe Quintarelli is the spearhead of this prestigious winery. Prestigious and monumental, one of the cornerstones of regional production, it is produced only in the best vintages. It comes from an ancient vineyard located in the Negrar valleys on calcareous soils rich in basalt. Withering of the grapes, maceration for 20 days and fermentation with indigenous yeasts for 45 days. It rests for 7 years in small and medium-sized Slavonian oak barrels. An Amarone with a very broad, intense, deep, powerful bouquet with notes of black cherry, sweet spices, berries, leather, cocoa and coffee. When tasted, it expresses all its impeccable class and elegance. Incredible expressive power and very long aging potential. Unmatched.
The name of Giuseppe Quintarelli has for years been a guiding light in Valpolicella, representing the quintessence of a territory that is rightly recognized as one of the most prestigious of Italian viticulture.
In the Negrar valley, twelve hectares of vineyards, where the autochthonous varieties of corvina, corvinone, rondinella and molinara meet, give life to about 50 thousand bottles a year. We are talking about an ancient history, started in the early 1900s with Silvio Quintarelli, then continued, from the middle of the century, in the name of tradition and the highest quality rigor with the youngest of his sons, "Bepi", today the undisputed master of 'Amarone. Born from the deepest respect for nature and a very strict selection of grapes, Quintarelli wines are wines with a capital "V", labels that contain important centuries-old skills and unique awareness, which are put into practice year after year, both in the rows as in the drying techniques and in the cellar practices. But it does not end here: those of Quintarelli are also wines that surprise for the great vitality, a characteristic that, as if that were not enough, naturally makes them ready for a very long aging, during which they improve enormously, expressing themselves for a long time even after the opening the bottle.
