The Champagne AOC Brut Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs “Albescent” by Waris Hubert is made from 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay sourced from the renowned villages of Avize, Oger, and Cramant in the Côte des Blancs. The vines, with an average age of 40 years, grow on chalky soils that impart minerality, finesse, and tension. Fermentation in steel and wood preserves purity and adds structure, while three years of lees aging give creaminess and depth with an exceptionally fine perlage. The bouquet reveals ripe citrus, white flowers, and dried fruit, with the chalky notestypical of the terroir. The palate is elegant, vertical, and persistent, perfect with oysters, raw seafood, sushi, fish carpaccio, and soft fresh cheeses.

Waris Hubert

The Waris Hubert Maison was founded in Avize, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, where deep chalk soils and terroir vocation give life to refined Chardonnay. Established in 1999 by Olivier Waris and Caroline Hubert, the estate combines family tradition with a modern vision, creating a style that highlights purity, aromatic precision, and mineral elegance. The vineyards include Grand Cru and Premier Cru parcels in Avize, Chouilly, Oger, Cramant, and Ay, among the most prestigious areas for producing high-quality Champagne.
The production philosophy is clear: respect for nature, enhancing each parcel, and vinifications aimed at expressing the nuances of every cru. Fermentation takes place partly in stainless steel and partly in oak, with lees aging always exceeding 24 months, giving complexity and depth. The result is cuvées with a distinctive identity, balancing tensionand softness, citrus freshness and toasted notes, floral aromas and chalky minerality.
Every bottle of Waris Hubert carries the signature of a young Maison, already recognized among Champagne’s most promising producers. From the Chardonnay-only selections, marked by verticality and mineral drive, to the richer blends with Pinot Noir and Meunier, the style remains consistent: essential, elegant, vibrant.
Choosing Waris Hubert means embarking on a sensory journey through the heart of the Côte des Blancs, enjoying Champagnes that combine craftsmanship with contemporary finesse. On Vino45 you can explore a curated selection of their labels, ideal for discovering the authentic character of the region.
