Champagne AOC Brut Grand Cru Dom Pérignon Plénitude 2 2004 is a vintage raised without haste, reaching a new peak of expression. After about 15 years on the lees, the wine is even more expansive and complex. The 2004 vintage, shaped by a hot, dry summer and a harvest starting on 24 September with healthy, ripe grapes, remains in the Maison’s history for richness and generosity. Aging refines minerality into glorious maturity, with aromas of cocoa, mocha, toast, brioche, honey, blended with candied fruit and spices. On the palate it alternates tension and lightness with precision, showing an elegant, persistent character and a powerful licorice finish. Ideal with caviar, shellfish, foie gras, and haute cuisine.

Dom Pérignon

Embedded in the history and myth of the world's most celebrated region, Champagne, the Dom Pérignon cellar is synonymous with timeless luxury and elegance. Each bottle tells a story of innovation and perfection, a journey begun in past centuries by a visionary monk, Dom Pierre Pérignon, who dreamed of creating "the best wine in the world". Today, this cellar keeps its legend alive by producing exclusively vintage cuvées, a tribute to the best harvest years when the grapes reach extraordinary maturity.
The terroir of Champagne, with its chalky soil and unique climate, gives Dom Pérignon wines an unmistakable personality. Here, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes unite in a blend of perfect harmony, giving life to wines that are a symphony of flavors and aromas. Each cuvée is a masterpiece of complexity and structure, where notes of ripe fruit intertwine with delicate hints of brioche, almond, and spices, offering an unparalleled sensory experience.
The Dom Pérignon Vintage is the jewel of the cellar, a liquid emotion that embodies the art of winemaking and the mastery of those who know how to capture the magic of a vintage. With its fine and persistent perlage, and a long and enveloping finish, each sip is an invitation to explore new dimensions of pleasure.

Color: Bright gold with amber nuances reflecting the maturity of the vintage and its second plenitude, still luminous and compact.
Nose: Complex aromas of dried fruits, almond and hazelnut, followed by cocoa, roasted coffee and brioche, with mineral and spicy undertones developing in the glass.
Palate: Intense and enveloping structure, fine and creamy mousse, citrus-driven freshness balanced by smoky hints and a very long saline persistence.

THE WINE
Champagne AOC Brut Grand Cru Dom Pérignon Plénitude 2 2004 is a vintage raised without haste, reaching a new peak of expression. THE MAISON

Dom Pérignon is only rare and Vintage. Each bottle is an authentic act of creation, obtained from the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes of a single harvest. Dom Pérignon reinvents itself with each vintage and refuses compromises, foregoing the creation of the Vintage when the harvest is not up to par. It draws inspiration from the creative legacy of Dom Pierre Pérignon, a young Benedictine monk who in 1668 was appointed cellar master of the Abbey of Hautvillers, overlooking the vineyards of Champagne: his passion for oenological excellence drove him to want to create the "best wine in the world" to serve his community and the glory of God. The Maison carries on his ambition, with a tension towards the pursuit of Harmony as a source of emotion. Each Vintage Dom Pérignon gradually evolves and, during its maturation journey, goes through moments of “Plénitude,” temporal windows in which the Champagne expresses new and surprising aspects of the vintage. The first Plénitude is reached after no less than eight years of elaboration in the cellar: here is Dom Pérignon Vintage and Rosé Vintage, the age of Harmony. Plénitude 2, which is reached after at least fifteen years of slow transformation in the cellars, is the elevation to the second life of Dom Pérignon: the expansion of Energy reaches its peak, the wine unfolds in all dimensions - broader, deeper, longer, more intense, and enriched by further longevity.
