The Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs champagne from Soutiran is produced in the municipality of Ambonnay, in the southern part of the Montagne de Reims. A pure Chardonnay that bursts from the glass with a delicately oxidative bouquet of walnut oil, candied lemons, yellow apple, and white peach. On the palate, the wine is broad, full-bodied, and complex, with a deep and concentrated heart, ripe acids, and a long finish of hazelnut. Powerful and complex, with great style, very terroir-driven. Perfect to accompany fish dishes.
THE MAISON

Soutiran is a small family maison located in the municipality of Ambonnay, in the southern part of the Montagne de Reims. Founded in 1969, the company is now led by Patrick and Valerie Renaux, representing the third generation. The family owns six hectares in Ambonnay, an area renowned for producing powerful and gourmet wines, and carries out a small negociant work, purchasing a modest quantity of grapes from farmers who own Grand Cru and Premier Cru classified vineyards, all located within the Montagne de Reims. The winemaking style enhances the muscular characteristics of the originating villages; the opulence of the Ambonnay terroir is contained through moderate use of wood and dosage. In the glass, the impact is formidable, the wines (strongly gastronomic) have a typical character and are the epitome of an appellation that makes territorial recognizability its strength. Currently, production is around 120,000 bottles.
