Champagne Brut Nature 'Clos du Château de Bligny' 6 Cepages by Château de Bligny is the latest exception in Champagne created in 2004 by the Rapeneau Family: the only Clos like Château in Champagne with the 6 authorized grape varieties of the denomination: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier along with the forgotten: Arbane, Pinot Blanc, and Petit Meslier. Arbane is an ancient indigenous grape variety from Aube known for its liveliness. Pinot Blanc contributes to a clear and bright wine. Finally, Petit Meslier is an ancient Champagne grape that reveals aromas of lime and violet. This wine is born in the Côte des Bar, in the village of Bligny in Aube. Sunny and powerful, on the palate it is tonic and presents a distinct sap that leads the finish towards rather appetizing bitter notes. Only 7,160 bottles produced.

Château de Bligny

In the heart of the most celebrated region for sparkling wines, Champagne, stands the Château de Bligny with majestic elegance. This castle is not just an architectural symbol but a true temple of wine, one of the few in Champagne where winemaking is done entirely on site. Surrounded by vineyards that stretch as far as the eye can see, the Château de Bligny is passionately and masterfully dedicated to the art of Négociant-manipulant, an approach that combines tradition and innovation to create champagne of rare refinement.
Its vines, caressed by the breeze of this unique land, are cultivated with wisdom and dedication, and host the noble grapes of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. These varieties, nurtured by a rich and varied terroir, give life to champagnes that seduce the senses and captivate the soul. Among its most emblematic creations, the Cuvée 6 Cépages stands out for its complexity and harmony, an oenological masterpiece that embodies the very essence of Château de Bligny. Refined and complex, this cuvée is a sensory journey that traverses fruity, floral, and toasted notes, offering a tasting experience that evokes the elegance and history of this legendary region.
Be enchanted by the extraordinary labels of Château de Bligny on Vino45: an invitation to discover the noble soul of Champagne, between tradition and innovation, in a sip of pure magic.

THE WINE
Champagne Brut Nature 'Clos du Château de Bligny' 6 Grapes by Château de Bligny is the latest exception in Champagne created in 2004 by the Rapeneau Family: the only Clos like a Château in Champagne with the 6 authorized grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier and the forgotten: Arbane, Pinot Blanc and Petit Meslier. Arbane is an ancient indigenous grape of the Aube that is characterized by its liveliness. Pinot Blanc gives a clear and bright wine. Finally, Petit Meslier reveals aromas of lime and violet. This wine is born in the Côte des Bar, in the village of Bligny in Aube. Sunny and powerful, on the palate it is tonic and has a distinct sap that leads the finish towards rather tasty bitters. Only 7,160 bottles produced.
Blend: 1/6 Chardonnay - 1/6 Pinot Noir - 1/6 Pinot Meunier - 1/6 Arbane (for its liveliness and aromatic power) - 1/6 Pinot Blanc (for its clarity and brightness) - 1/6 Petit Meslier (for the aromas of lime and violet).
THE HOUSE

The Rapeneau family, after acquiring the castle, decided in 2004 to plant a vineyard enclosed by walls, following the traditional idea of the “Clos”. To create a strong bond with the territory, they decided to plant the six emblematic varieties of Champagne: the classic Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier and the “forgotten” grape varieties: Arbanne, Pinot Blanc and Petit Meslier. While the three traditional grape varieties bring familiar sensations, the other three grapes add distinctly unique notes to the cuvée: Arbane (formerly widespread in the Aube) brings aromas and freshness, Pinot Blanc offers brightness and structure, and finally, Petit Meslier presents aromas of lime and violet. The desire of the Rapeneau family is to highlight each single variety, engaging with the art of blending, the keystone of the Champagne concept.
