The grapes, carefully harvested during the harvest season, once in the winery, are vinified in steel, where they ferment and mature for 9-10 months. Important hints of mineral notes are followed by more floral and fruity sensations. Good body, juicy, balanced, intense, and flavorful even in the finish. A bottle absolutely worth trying.

THE COMPANY
The Domaine Denis Race has been located in the heart of Chablis for 4 generations, and the 18 hectares of vineyards owned by the family - with ages ranging from 5 to 65 years - have their roots in clay-limestone soils with a gypsum subsoil. Located halfway between Paris and Dijon, Chablis is the northernmost denomination of Burgundy, a terroir where Chardonnay reigns supreme over 4200 hectares spread across 20 municipalities along the Serein river. Since 1979, Denis, along with his wife Laurence and daughter Claire, have developed the style of the Domaine, expressing the vineyard's characteristics in 4 cuvées: Petit Chablis, Village, 1er Cru, and Grand Cru, totaling 90,000 bottles. The wines are a pure voice of Chablis: finesse, tension, pleasant freshness, savory minerality, precision, and charm.
