The Chardonnay from Cloudy Bay is born in the sunny areas of Marlborough, New Zealand, from four parcels of vineyards located in as many sub-regions: Brancott, Fairhall, Ben Morven, and the Central Wairau Valley. After aging for about a year in French oak barrels, it results in a powerful and exotic white wine of great finesse and incisive character. It encapsulates the traits of both land and sea, being at the same time fresh and sunny, energetic and delicate. Fruity notes reminiscent of lemon and apple, along with floral tones of orange blossoms, are set against a mineral background. Freshness and balance with structure and personality, very intriguing.
