The 'Derthona' by Oddero is a white wine made entirely from Timorasso grapes, an ancient indigenous white grape variety from Piedmont. Strict manual selection of the grapes in the vineyard. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, while aging occurs partly in large Austrian oak barrels for 1 year, with the remaining part in stainless steel tanks. After the aging period, the two components are blended. Before being released on the market, the wine rests for 4 months in the bottle. Fruity with notes of peach and pear, with a slight hint of honey on the finish. Intense, soft taste characterized by good acidity and persistence.

The history of this winery intertwines with that of its lands, where each row tells stories of dedication and passion passed down from generation to generation.
In the heart of Piedmont, among the most prestigious denominations like DOCG Barolo and Barbaresco, Oddero carefully and respectfully cultivates native varieties such as Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto. Each harvest is a ritual that unfolds following the rhythms of nature, and the production philosophy of Oddero is based on a deep respect for these traditions, aiming to enhance the essence of the grapes and the territory. The winery adopts sustainable practices, valuing biodiversity and protecting the integrity of the soil.
