The 'Cuvée Aurora Riserva 100 Mesi' is an expression of the continuous and inexhaustible pursuit of excellence, even in its Piedmontese soul, by the company Banfi, which has believed in the Alta Langa project since the early '90s. An interpretation of the Classic Method of Piedmont "for excellence and of excellence." The cuvée is composed of Pinot Noir (85%) and Chardonnay (15%) hand-picked exclusively from vineyards cultivated in the high hills of Piedmont. Fermentation and aging in bottle on the lees for at least 100 months. Intense aroma initially characterized by hints of candied citrus peel that then evolve into aromas of brioche, dried fruit, and vanilla. An austere and elegant wine, distinguished by its pronounced sapidity and remarkable persistence.

THE WINE
The 'Cuvée Aurora Riserva 100 Mesi' is an expression of the continuous and inexhaustible search for excellence, even in its Piedmontese soul, of the company Banfi that has believed in the Alta Langa project since the early 1990s. An interpretation of the Classic Method of Piedmont "for excellence and of excellence". The cuvée is made up of Pinot Noir (85%) and Chardonnay (15%) hand-picked and coming exclusively from vineyards cultivated in the high hills of Piedmont. Fermentation and aging in bottle on the lees for at least 100 months. Intense aroma characterized initially by hints of candied citrus peel that then evolve into aromas of brioche, dried fruit, and vanilla. An austere and elegant wine, distinguished by its pronounced sapidity and remarkable persistence.
THE COMPANY

Banfi was founded in 1978 thanks to the will of Italian-American brothers John and Harry Mariani. From the very beginning, the two brothers envisioned a large-scale project, integrating quality viticulture with a modern winery with the aim of always maintaining a high qualitative level of the wines produced. Alongside the Mariani family, Ezio Rivella, one of the greatest Italian oenologists, immediately believes that due to the richness of the soil and the privileged microclimatic position, the acquired territories would have great potential for development. In those years, brothers John and Harry also acquired the historic Piedmontese winery Bruzzone, active since 1860 and specialized in the production of sparkling wines, to make it the Piedmontese brand of the group, now Banfi Piemonte.
