THE COMPANY

A winery that needs no introduction, whose myth was born thanks to the intuition of one man, Giulio Ferrari, and the dream of creating a wine in Trentino that could compete with the best French Champagnes. A true pioneer, he was the first to realize the extraordinary vocation of his land, the first to spread Chardonnay in Italy. This is how he began producing a few select bottles with an obsessive cult for quality. Wines that immediately won the hearts of the most demanding enthusiasts who had never found sparkling wines so elegant, refined, and surprising in Italy. However, not having children, Giulio Ferrari sought a successor to entrust his dream. Among the many candidates, he chose Bruno Lunelli, owner of a famous wine shop in Trento. Thanks to his passion and entrepreneurial talent, Bruno was able, in a very short time, during the early 1950s, to increase production without ever compromising on quality, following the same path laid out by the founder. The tradition continues, and Bruno Lunelli passes on the passion to his children: under the guidance of Franco, Gino, and Mauro, Ferrari becomes a leader in Italy and the quintessential Italian toast. During these years, some labels destined to enter history come to light: the Ferrari Rosé, the Ferrari Perlé, and the Giulio Ferrari Riserva del Fondatore. Today, over a hundred years later, Ferrari is synonymous with the best Italian sparkling wines. Unique wines, true anthems to the greatness of an unparalleled winery and a territory, that of Trento, which has shown it can offer some of the best bubbles in the world.
