Saint-Aubin AOC Premier Cru Pinot Noir 'Sur le Sentier du Clou' Vieilles Vignes 2022 (750 ml.) Henri Prudhon & Fils

Vintage 2022 for the Saint-Aubin Premier Cru "Sur le Sentier du Clou" Vieilles Vignes by Henri Prudhon & Fils, a rare Pinot Noirfrom the Côte de Beaune. A year marked by a hot summer and perfectly ripe grapes, giving balance and aromatic intensity. The 80-year-old vines grow on limestone marl and stony soils with southeast exposure. The Pinot Noir shows a tense, mineral profile, combining fruit and depth. Vinified with gentle pressing and 18 months aging in French oak barrels, with a touch of new wood. Bright ruby color, aromas of cherry, raspberry, red flowers, fine spices, plus hints of vanilla and tobacco. On the palate: lively acidity, velvety tannins, long persistence, ideal with light game, grilled red meats, and aged cheeses.
