Rocca di Frassinello

In the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, a wild and sunny land that has always enchanted travelers and enthusiasts, Rocca di Frassinello is born, one of the most fascinating realities of the Italian wine scene. Here two great traditions meet: the Tuscan one of Sangioveto and the French one brought by Domaines Barons de Rothschild-Lafite, in partnership with Castellare di Castellina. The result is a unique project that blends style and experience in bottles capable of expressing both international elegance and Mediterranean soul.

The winery, designed by architect Renzo Piano, is a masterpiece of functional design and scenic beauty: pure lines, essential geometries, a harmony that dialogues with the surrounding hills. Below the surface, the spectacular underground barrel room opens like a true cathedral, a silent guardian of wines resting in the dark, waiting to tell their stories.

In the 90 hectares of vineyards, native and international varieties coexist: Sangioveto, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Shiraz. From this richness, now iconic labels are born. Rocca di Frassinello, the symbol wine, combines structure, finesse, and longevity. Le Sughere di Frassinello represents balance and daily pleasure, while Baffonero, pure Merlot, is considered one of the most intense and prestigious reds in the entire Maremma. Completing the range is Poggio alla Guardia, immediate and fresh, perfect as an introduction to the estate's style.

Each bottle is the result of careful work, where viticultural excellence meets the art of blending and meticulous attention to every detail. Choosing Rocca di Frassinello means bringing to the table the perfect synthesis between power and refinement, between roots and vision. A story that you can now also discover through Vino45, a reference point for those who want to experience wine as an authentic and memorable experience.
