The Costa d'Amalfi Rosso by Marisa Cuomo is made from hand-harvested piedirosso and aglianico grapes. Left to rest exclusively in steel, it is a red wine that maximizes the expression of fruit, providing a sip with a savory and mineral character, thanks to the limestone soils where the vines grow and the saltiness from the Tyrrhenian Sea. A perfect wine with all the flavorful preparations of land cuisine.

Marisa Cuomo

On the majestic backdrop of the Amalfi Coast, where the cliffs plunge into the sea and the waves whisper ancient stories, stands the Marisa Cuomo winery. A bastion of heroic viticulture, this winery is a symbol of dedication and passion, nestled among the dizzying terraces that characterize one of the most fascinating landscapes in Italy. Here, nature imposes its presence, and man has responded with ingenuity and respect, creating wines that are a tribute to the land.
The DOC Costa d’Amalfi is the denomination that encompasses the creations of Marisa Cuomo, a brand that carries with it the very essence of the land from which it is born. Indigenous varieties such as Piedirosso, Falanghina, and Biancolella are cultivated with care and attention, challenging the difficulties of an environment as forbidding as it is generous. Each bunch is a small miracle of nature, encapsulating the warmth of the sun and the freshness of the sea breeze.
Among the main labels, Fiorduva stands out as a masterpiece of intensity and finesse. This wine, with its vibrant personality, expresses complex aromas and a sapidity that recalls the embrace of the sea. It is a sensory experience, a journey through floral and fruity notes intertwined with mineral nuances, offering an unforgettable taste of this unique land.
Let yourself be seduced by the wines signed by Marisa Cuomo on Vino45, where each bottle tells a story of courage, beauty, and authenticity, taking you directly to the heart of a dreamlike landscape.

THE WINE
The Costa d'Amalfi Rosso by Marisa Cuomo is made from hand-harvested piedirosso and aglianico grapes. Allowed to rest exclusively in steel, it is a red wine in which the fruit is maximally enhanced, providing a sip with a savory and mineral character, thanks to the limestone soils where the vines grow and the saltiness coming from the Tyrrhenian Sea. A perfect wine with all the flavorful preparations of land cuisine.
THE COMPANY

It was exactly 1980, the year in which Andrea Ferraioli gifted his future bride with the small vineyards he had inherited from his father. This is how the winery “Marisa Cuomo” was born, and with it began a story made of love, passion, and endless work, which in thirty years has taken Andrea Ferraioli and Marisa Cuomo truly far, reaching the heights of the best whites in the world. The winery is located in the municipality of Furore, a small jewel of the Amalfi Coast, and the owned vineyards overlook the splendid Gulf of Salerno, from Ravello to Scala, along the fjords that lead to Amalfi. About ten hectares of vines in total, which rise to an average altitude of five hundred meters, climbing the steep slopes that drop into the blue of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The vines, supported by chestnut poles according to the pergola training system, are so-called “on the wall,” meaning they sprout horizontally from the dry stone walls that Andrea and Marisa have painstakingly built through terracing. With an average age reaching eighty years, all the plants are own-rooted and pre-phylloxera. By cultivating the more unknown and typical grape varieties of the area such as fenile, piedirosso, ginestra, pepella, ripolo, sciascinoso, tintore, and tronto, Marisa and Andrea manage to impart a deep, sincere, and unmistakable character to all their labels. Reds, Rosés, or Whites, under the denominations “Furore,” “Ravello,” or “Costa d’Amalfi,” all the wines produced by the Salerno winery are expressions of what is defined as “heroic viticulture,” where more than anything else, the hard work of hands and the sweat of the brow count. The wines of Marisa Cuomo are realized in the flagship label of the company, which for years has seen the “Fiorduva” as one of the most prized and renowned whites of the entire Italian Peninsula and beyond.
