The 'Campo San Giorgio' by Umani Ronchi is a Conero Riserva that takes its name from the homonymous vineyard parcel located in the municipality of Osimo, which has distinguished itself over the years for its extraordinary qualitative traits. It is aged for 12 months in small wooden barrels; an additional 6 months of maturation in large barrels precedes bottling and the final resting period of 8-10 months before commercialization. The aroma is distinctly fruity with notes of cherry and plum, set against a spicy background of licorice and vanilla. The taste is intense, dense, enveloping, with balanced and velvety tannins. Excellent.

THE WINE
The 'Campo San Giorgio' by Umani Ronchi is a Conero Riserva named after the homonymous vineyard plot located in the municipality of Osimo, which has distinguished itself over the years for its extraordinary qualitative traits. It undergoes 12 months of aging in small wooden barrels; an additional 6 months of maturation in large barrels precedes bottling, followed by a final resting period of 8-10 months before commercialization. The aroma is distinctly fruity with notes of cherry and plum, set against a spicy background of licorice and vanilla. The taste is intense, dense, enveloping with balanced and velvety tannins. THE COMPANY
The winery Umani Ronchi is one of the historic, large, and most well-known production realities in the Marche region. Its strength and the secret of its success lie in its continuous ability to renew itself and the courage to challenge itself, constantly improving production and staying updated on the latest trends while keeping its feet firmly planted in both company traditions and those of the territory. It was founded in 1957 by Gino Umani Ronchi in Cupramontana, in the heart of Verdicchio production, and today boasts extensive properties not only in the Castelli di Jesi area but also in Conero and Abruzzo. For over 50 years, it has been managed by the Bianchi Bernetti family, who, thanks to the work of Massimo and then his son Michele, have been able to enhance and promote the labels produced worldwide.
The winery Umani Ronchi has successfully undergone a significant transformation, converting hundreds of hectares of vineyards to organic farming, thanks to the expertise of agronomist Luigi Piersanti. The renewal and modernization have involved the entire production, capable of uniting the typical traits of the territory, the varietal character of the grapes, and a modern and elegant style. Each production site is equipped with its own cellar, following the principle of 'three cellars for three territories': Osimo, where the great reds are born; Castelbellino, the cradle of Verdicchio, and Montipagano, the Abruzzo location.
The name of Umani Ronchi has always been associated with the excellence of two renowned wine specialties: Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi and Rosso Conero, based on Montepulciano. Alongside these, in recent years, Abruzzo wines have also been produced from native varieties that have immediately gained great success. The identification and enhancement of very suitable vineyards have allowed the Bianchi Bernetti family to increasingly focus on quality and territorial typicity. After over half a century of history, this winery has managed to maintain a reference role in the regional wine landscape.
