THE COMPANY

Our story is written in the land to which, for eight generations, we have dedicated the attention and love that is given to a family member. Our grandparents taught us to respect it while always looking to the future, and this vision still allows us to have lush vineyards and cultivate rich and fertile lands. Over the years, at the historic estate of Regaleali, through a precise project for enhancing indigenous varieties and the most wine-growing vocations, Capofaro in Salina in the Aeolian Islands, Tascante on Etna, Whitaker in Mozia in the province of Trapani, and Sallier de La Tour in the Doc Monreale have been added, each with its own story to write, each with a different Sicily to tell. Our biggest challenge now is to preserve these places to leave our children a better environment, with a constant focus on safeguarding each individual ecosystem.
THE PHILOSOPHY
We respect the land and its rhythms
We cultivate the vineyard in five different estates in Sicily – Regaleali, Capofaro, Tascante, Whitaker, and Sallier de La Tour – each with its own characteristics. Different soils and climates span the entire Island, giving rise to a long harvest season that begins in mid-August and concludes between the end of October and the beginning of November. For generations, men and women have worked alongside us, helping us keep pace with the seasons. We tell the story of Sicily and its products also through a cooking school where the raw materials dictate the calendar. Alongside the vineyards, we grow olive trees, wheat, and almond trees, gardens, pastures, and orchards, each in its own time because in our world, nature is not in a hurry.
