The Chambolle-Musigny from Domaine Roblot Marchand is a pure Pinot Noir from one of the most renowned parcels of the famous AOC of Burgundy. The Domaine has deep roots in a historic family tradition founded in 1910. In the vineyard, there is maximum respect for nature and the vitality of the soil, limiting human intervention to the bare minimum. In the cellar, it is aged for 16-18 months in French oak barrels, some of which are new. The aromatic profile is intoxicating, sparkling, clear, and defined. The nose is stunning in its aromatic intensity, featuring notes of oriental spices, blood orange, wisteria, lavender, and raspberry, creating an extraordinarily defined profile. The palate is elegant, with a caressing texture and truly irresistible juicy character, making it perfect for pairing with a flavorful dish.

THE WINE
The Chambolle-Musigny from Domaine Roblot Marchand is a pure Pinot Noir from one of the most promising plots of the famous AOC in Burgundy. The Domaine is rooted in a historic family tradition founded in 1910. In the vineyard, there is great respect for nature and the vitality of the soil, minimizing human intervention as much as possible. In the cellar, it is aged for 16-18 months in French oak barrels, some of which are new. The aromatic profile is intoxicating, sparkling, clear, and defined. The nose is stunningly intense, featuring notes of oriental spices, blood orange, wisteria, lavender, and raspberry, creating a profile of extraordinary definition. The palate is elegant, with a caressing texture and an irresistibly juicy character, making it ideal to pair with a flavorful dish.
THE COMPANY

The Domaine Roblot Marchand is located in Burgundy, specifically in Chambolle-Musigny, in one of the most prestigious areas of the Côte d’Or. Frédéric Roblot is the heir of a family of vignerons who have been cultivating the vine in these lands since the early 1900s. He abandoned the custom of past generations to sell grapes or wines to other producers and began bottling the wines of the domaine directly under his own name. Thanks to his passion and love for his land, he has managed to maintain a craft approach that allows for the creation of labels with an authentic character, a true expression of a great terroir. The bottles are enjoyable to drink right away, but they also age beautifully, at least for a decade or more.
The estate covers a total of eight hectares, divided into various plots, located in the prestigious and famous areas of: Chambolle-Musigny, Vosne-Romanée, and Hautes-Côtes de Nuits. These territories are tied to a millennial history, from the Roman colonization of Gaul through the medieval era of monasteries, always keeping the tradition of viticulture alive. The region has ideal conditions for vines, with beautiful hillside exposures blessed by the sun and a cool, breezy climate, particularly suitable for noble grapes such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. It is in this region that these two grape varieties can express themselves at the highest levels, producing wines that have been considered among the best in the world for centuries.
The range of Roblot Marchand wines offers interesting expressions of the Burgundy territory. Chambolle-Musigny, home of the domaine, is located in the heart of the Côtes de Nuits. It is a small village, once the site of the Abbey of Cîteaux, with vineyards cultivated at an altitude between 250 and 300 meters above sea level, facing east and composed mainly of limestone soils with clay presence. Its wines are distinguished by intensity and longevity. Vosne-Romanée represents the pinnacle of the Côtes de Nuits territory, with some of the absolute best expressions of Pinot Noir. The presence of soils composed of limestone and clay marls gives the wines a rich, velvety, and elegant character, with silky tannins. Finally, the Domaine Roblot Marchand also produces excellent labels from the Appellation Hautes Côtes de Nuits, which, especially in the warmer vintages, delivers wines with an excellent quality-price ratio.
