Barolo 'Cerequio' by Vietti is made from grapes from the historic single vineyard of 'Cerequio', one of the most important MGAs in the entire Barolo production area. Vines with an average age of 35 years. 2018 is the first vintage of this very important Vietti cru. Aging for 32 months in large oak barrels and about a year in the bottle. On the palate it is full, fruity and citrus notes are perceived (strawberry, plum, cherry). The tannin is fine and impressive at the same time in support of an enveloping and persistent structure. All the harmony and complexity of one of the most important crus stands out. On the final balsamic notes that give rare elegance and balance. A great Barolo, to be left in the cellar to reach its maximum splendor in a few years.
