Barbaresco 'Martinenga' by Marchesi di Gresy is made in the Cisa Asinari estates where a fine Nebbiolo of rare complexity and elegance is obtained. The Additional Geographic Mention 'Martinenga' is one of the most suitable and is located in the heart of the municipality of Barbaresco, on the border with the famous crus of Asili and Rabaja. It is a complex and very intense red wine, aged for 12 months in large Slavonian oak barrels with a short passage in barrique. Notes of wild berries stand out combined with intense spicy nuances and mineral puffs. On the palate it is fresh and majestic, rich and balanced, with dense but elegant tannins.

With an area of about 45 hectares of vineyards distributed between the hills of the Langhe and Monferrato, the Cisa Asinari estates of the Marchesi di Grésv are a historic Piedmontese winemaking reality, whose roots date back to the end of the 18th century. The Estates are made up of four wineries located in the Langhe and Monferrato: Martinenga, Monte Aribaldo, La serra and Monte Colombo. The head office is Martinenga, an extraordinary vineyard amphitheater in the heart of the Barbaresco DOCG and it has been the winemaking monopoly of the Grésy family since 1797. Wines of the highest quality level that do not exceed in power, but surprise with their extreme elegance and contain all the nuances of the territory.
