Listrac-Medoc Rouge AOC 'Chateau Clarke' 2015 (750 ml.) Baron Edmond de Rothschild

The Listrac-Médoc Rouge AOC “Château Clarke” 2015 by Baron Edmond de Rothschild is crafted from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grown on clay-limestone soils, giving the wine structure and ageing potential. After hand harvesting and rigorous selection, the grapes ferment in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by 14–18 months of ageing in French oak barrels for elegance and complexity. The bouquet reveals blackberry, blackcurrant, plum, toasted notes and sweet spices, while the palate is full-bodied, velvety and persistent, with ripe tannins and a harmonious finish. Perfect with beef fillet, braised game, roasted lamb and mature cheeses.

In the world of wine, the name Rothschild evokes the image of a centuries-old tradition and unparalleled excellence. The winery Baron Edmond de Rothschild represents a wine-making adventure that extends far beyond the borders of Bordeaux, embracing distant and fascinating lands such as South Africa and Argentina. This international project is a tribute to the timeless passion of the Rothschild family for wine, a combination of excellent terroirs and oenological mastery capable of creating world-renowned wines.

In the renowned region of Bordeaux, the winery stands out for producing wines that celebrate the iconic varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Here, the temperate climate and gravel-rich soil give the wines a refined structure and timeless elegance. But the creative energy of Rothschild doesn't stop at the French borders. In South Africa and Argentina, the family has been able to adapt their vision, respecting and enhancing the characteristic local terroirs, creating wines that tell stories of distant lands and ancient traditions.

Among the main labels, Rimapere stands out, a wine that embodies the essence of the South American adventure, with its intense aromas and complexity that reflects the vibrant character of the Argentine soil. No less fascinating is Flechas de los Andes, a wine that carries all the strength and passion of a land kissed by the South African sun, combining structure and depth in a memorable sip.

Allow yourself to be transported on a unique sensory journey, exploring the wines signed by Baron Edmond de Rothschild on Vino45.
