THE WINE

THE COMPANY
Podere Rocche dei Manzoni was founded in 1974 in the locality of Manzoni in the municipality of Monforte d’Alba, the beating heart of the Langhe and the production area of Barolo, at the behest of Valentino Migliorini.
Today the company consists of 50 hectares, all in the same municipality with properties in the best and most vocated plots of the wine-growing area.
A model company, which has always stood out for courageous and winning choices. In 1976 we created the first blended wine in the Langhe, we were the first in 1978 to use barriques for the vinification of our wines, and in the same year our production began.
A model company, Rocche dei Manzoni has always distinguished itself in the landscape of great Italian producers for courageous and winning choices. In 1976, it created the first blend ever produced in the Langhe, an area where nebbiolo, barbera, freisa, and other varieties were historically vinified only in purity.
