Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2012 (750 ml. wooden box) Bertani

Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a timeless wine, an expression of a unique style that Bertani has always followed with dedication. It is made from Corvina and Rondinella grapes on the hills of Tenuta Novare, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica, in vineyards dedicated solely to grapes for drying. The 2012 is the result of 3,322 days of waiting and work. Complex, balanced, harmonious, and of extraordinary longevity. Intense red color with garnet hues. Typical notes of plum, cherry, and sour cherry stand out on the nose, followed by tea leaves, licorice, and spices. Hints of red berry fruit, sweetened by soft notes of spices, in perfect balance with acidity and tannin.
