The Champagne Brut 'Anthracite' by Corbon is a Blanc de Noirs made from a traditional cuvée of 50% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir, and 25% Pinot Meunier produced by this artisanal Maison. It is made only with the best organic grapes sourced from vineyards cultivated in the famous Côte des Blancs. The winemaking process takes place in both oak barrels and steel tanks, and the aging on the lees lasts for a full 5 years until the secondary fermentation, during which a low sugar content is maintained to create a high-class Brut. The bubbles represent excellently the union of multiple vintages and grape varieties, but with a single production tradition of great expressive quality.

Corbon

In the sparkling heart of the Champagne region in France, lies the Corbon winery, a small gem of authenticity and passion. Nestled among the hills adorned with vineyards, where tradition meets generous nature, this family-run winery embodies the purest essence of the champenois spirit. Here, time seems to slow down, allowing each bunch of Chardonnay to ripen at nature's pace, under a watchful and loving eye.
Corbon stands out in the vibrant landscape of French wine with its RM Champagne productions, a designation that celebrates the craftsmanship and independence of small producers. The production philosophy is an ode to naturalness, a harmonious dance between man and earth. Fermentations occur naturally, without dosage, giving birth to Champagne that is pure, dry, and infused with a lively and irresistible freshness.
The flagship of the winery is undoubtedly the Extra Brut Champagne, a refined expression of the land that transparently and sincerely narrates the unique characteristics of the chalky soil and temperate climate of Champagne. Every sip is a sensory journey that opens with citrus and white flower notes, followed by an elegant minerality and a structure that caresses the palate with its fine and persistent effervescence.

THE MAISON

The company is located in Avize, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. The land includes six hectares of 100% Grand Cru vineyards. It all started in the 1920s when Charles Corbon, having moved to Avize, began purchasing vineyards and selling the produced grapes to wineries. In the 1970s, coinciding with the economic crisis, Claude Corbon decided to transform the company into a producer. Since 2006, he has been joined by his daughter Agnes, with whom he develops and perfects his Champagne project without filtration and blending, with no added additives and a minimum of three years of aging before being marketed. All this is aimed at obtaining a lively, sincere, and natural wine, with a strong personality and character. A champagne of excellent quality and a refined and unique bouquet that will amaze and move you.
