Champagne AOC Brut Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs 'Gageure 22' Millesime 2012 (750 ml.) Eleonore

The Champagne AOC Brut Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs “Gageure 22” Vintage 2012 by Éléonore is a wine of character, crafted from pure Chardonnay sourced from the finest crus of the Côte des Blancs. The 2012 vintage, one of the most celebrated, offers a woody, sharp and evolved style, with notes of red fruit jam, bergamot and candied fruits, enriched by a touch of bitterness that enhances elegance and stimulates salivation. The palate is edgy and mineral, supported by fine bubbles and long persistence. A versatile Champagne, suitable for meals or aperitif, perfect with foie gras, veal roast with shallots, veal blanquette, Grisons meat or bresaola, and surprisingly good with pineapple tart or grilled sardines.

Éléonore

In the heart of the Côte des Blancs, in Oger, one of the most prestigious Grand Cru villages of Champagne, Éléonore is born: a family maison that has chosen to tell the story of the territory with elegance and depth, enhancing the potential of pure Chardonnay. Champagne Éléonore is the fruit of the passion and vision of Didier Dzieciuck and the young Anastasia Tranchard, third generation of winemakers, today guardians of an artisanal production that combines modern spirit and respect for roots.

The vineyards, cultivated with sustainable methods and great care, take root in chalky soils that provide minerality and tension to the wines. All cuvées are Grand Cru, vinified separately, without malolactic fermentation, to preserve freshness and aromatic identity.

OnVino45, you can discover three unique interpretations signed by Éléonore:

  • Ambigramme – Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Brut: 100% Chardonnay, it is the emblem of the maison's style. Fine bubbles, aromas of white flowers, citrus, and almond. Perfect for refined aperitifs and fish dishes.

  • Mystery 9 – Extra Brut Grand Cru: an exclusive blend of nine vintages (1996–2007), it captivates with complexity, evolved notes of hazelnut, spices, and dried fruit. For truly memorable moments.

  • Gageure 22 – Grand Cru Millésimé: an extraordinary fine and deep Blanc de Blancs, with hints of bergamot, biscuit, and dried flowers. For contemplation or great dining.

Champagne Éléonore is exclusively available onVino45.it, an online boutique for true connoisseurs. Each bottle is a promise of authenticity, elegance, and dedication. Toast to excellence, toast with Éléonore.

Address:

11 Rue Margot, 51190 Blancs-Coteaux, France

Color: Bright golden yellow with greenish highlights showing the freshness of the vintage and the fineness of the perlage.

Nose: Aromas of ripe citrus, white flowers, yellow stone fruit and light pastry notes with mineral hints typical of the cru.

Taste: Sharp freshness supported by an elegant structure, creamy texture balanced by crisp acidity and a long savory finish.
