The Greco di Tufo 'Nassano' FeudiStudi from Feudi di San Gregorio is named after the district at 420 m a.s.l., where just over one hectare of clay and limestone soil hosts the Greco vines. The grapes, hand-harvested, find an ideal habitat in this mineral-rich soil, providing the wine with structure and elegance. After fermentation and a year of aging in steel, it results in a white wine of great freshness, savoriness, and taste-olfactory coherence, captivating from the first sips with its notes of citrus, white flowers, and flint. It is part of the FeudiStudi project, dedicated to enhancing the most renowned cru of Irpinia, and pairs perfectly with raw seafood, crustaceans, seafood risottos, and fresh cheeses, also showing excellent aging potential.

FEUDISTUDI
The viticulture in Campania is nothing but the result of many "small stories" made by communities that have preserved the oldest traditions, a mosaic composed of communities, valleys, and hills, memories, and cultures that history has consolidated over time. The wines of a land are not merchandise but tales of life. They express the hills from which they originated and narrate stories of the people who have, generation after generation, created them.
The FeudiStudi wines are the result of the desire to tell ‐ with vinification and aging choices without commercial compromises by Pierpaolo Sirch ‐ the richness of our most expressive vineyards, selected each year from our 700 owned vineyards based on the characteristics of the vintage.
Every year, the wines will be unique pieces, produced in limited editions (around 2,000 bottles) and not intended for traditional commercial channels. We have chosen an exclusive bottle, a re-edition of the first Bordeaux bottles from the 17th century, and we started with two iconic vineyards of Fiano. In the following years, particular vineyards of Greco and Aglianico were also identified.
THE WINE
The Greco di Tufo ‘Nassano’ FeudiStudi from Feudi di San Gregorio is named after the district at 420 m s.l.m., where just over a hectare of clay and limestone soil hosts the Greco vines. The grapes, handpicked, find in this mineral soil an ideal habitat that gives the wine structure and elegance. After fermentation and a year of aging in steel, it becomes a white wine of great freshness, sapidity, and flavor-olfactory consistency, capable of conquering from the first sips with its notes of citrus, white flowers, and flint. It is part of the FeudiStudi project, dedicated to enhancing the most suitable crus of Irpinia, and pairs perfectly with raw seafood, shellfish, seafood risottos, and fresh cheeses, also showing excellent evolutionary potential.
THE COMPANY
A young company in a land of great traditions
Founded in 1986, Feudi di San Gregorio is today the symbolic brand of the enological renaissance of southern Italy and a drinking culture aimed at rediscovering the identity of Mediterranean flavors. Safeguarding tradition by seeking all its potential. Enhancing the grape varieties of Southern Italy such as Aglianico, Fiano di Avellino, and Greco di Tufo, investing in the land and the centuries-old tradition of Irpinian viticulture, giving a future back to a unique environmental heritage. Today, Feudi di San Gregorio is - and wants to increasingly be - a place of meeting, discussion, knowledge, meditation, a laboratory of ideas and culture.
The Vineyards
In Irpinia - a land of ancient winemaking tradition - vineyards have always coexisted with fruit trees, woods, olive trees, and aromatic herbs. In other words, they have always been a part of our lives. The original core of the Feudi di San Gregorio vineyards is located in the area of Sorbo Serpico, where the winery is situated; over time, the vineyards of Tufo, Taurasi, and Santa Paolina have joined, nestled on hills ranging from 350 to 700 meters in altitude. Thus, they have grown from the initial 30 hectares to over 300 today.
Beyond Campania
The spirit that animates Feudi di San Gregorio could not help but look beyond its original boundaries: a project with which the company wants to retrace - in territorial contexts different from Irpinia, but equally challenging and forgotten - its experience increasingly in absolute respect of the peculiarities of the new environment. Hence our landing in Vulture, in Basilicata, and in the area of Manduria, in Puglia.
