The Friuli Isonzo DOC “Dut’Un” by Vie di Romans is an elegant white from 50% Chardonnay and 50% Sauvignon Blanc from 32-year-old vines on limestone-clay soils rich in iron and aluminium. After destemming and cold maceration, it ferments at controlled temperature without malolactic, ageing 9 months on lees and 19 in bottle. Aromas of pear, apricot, lime, lemon cream and spices with mineral freshness. Creamy, harmonious, structured and persistent, ideal with fish, shellfish, white meats, mild cheeses, pasta and seafood risottos.

In the heart of the Friulian plain, in Mariano del Friuli, lies Vie di Romans, a winery that has become a symbol of elegance and winemaking precision. For three generations, the Gallo family has nurtured its vision here, led today by Gianfranco Gallo, who has transformed a traditional family estate into a benchmark for fine Italian white wines. The 60 hectares of vineyards grow on gravelly-calcareous soils, formed by the alluvial deposits of the Isonzo River, which provide excellent drainage and encourage deep root systems.
