Lugana DOP “Perla” by Perla del Garda is an elegant and bright white wine, produced with 100% Turbiana grapes, grown on the morainic hills south of Lake Garda. The harvest is done manually with careful selection of the bunches, followed by a soft pressing and fermentation at controlled temperatures in steel, to preserve freshness and varietal aromas. The production process aims to enhance the characteristics of the grape variety: delicate scents of white flowers, citrus, and almond, accompanied by a vibrant freshness and pleasant salinity on the palate. It matures exclusively in steel, thus maintaining its mineral imprint and authentic varietal profile. Perfect with fish dishes, lake raw, herb risottos, or fresh cheeses, it is a “pearl” of enology from the Lugana area.

Perla del Garda

Among the gentle morainic hills of Lake Garda, one of the most fascinating winemaking realities of Lombardy comes to life: Perla del Garda. This winery, entirely family-run, represents the authentic soul of the territory of Lonato del Garda, where tradition blends with innovation and respect for the land becomes a production philosophy.
Perla del Garda is synonymous with high-quality wine, produced exclusively with estate-grown grapes and vinified vertically by gravity, a rarity in the Italian landscape. The result? Clean, elegant, structured wines, capable of conveying the uniqueness of the Garda terroir in every sip.
The highlight is the Lugana DOC, vinified with hand-selected Turbiana grapes. Freshness, minerality, and longevity make it one of the noblest expressions of the denomination. But the range is rich and surprising: from the refined Metodo Classico to the sumptuous Rinascimento Rosso, to experiments in amphora and the cru from a single vineyard.
On Vino45 you can discover the entire Perla del Garda selection, with fast shipping and dedicated customer service. A true enological pearl to bring to the table. Address:
Via Fenil Vecchio, 9, 25017 Lonato del Garda (BS), Italy
Color: bright straw yellow with greenish reflections, an indicator of freshness and youth. The brilliance in the glass is remarkable, a sign of good clarity and resistance to oxidation.
Bouquet: immediate, floral, and fruity. Delicate aromas of white flowers such as hawthorn and jasmine emerge, followed by notes of green apple, pear, and citrus (grapefruit, lime). There are also herbaceous hints and a slight note of fresh almond on the finish.
Taste: fresh, smooth, and savory. The lively acidity is well balanced by a silky softness that provides equilibrium. The finish is clean, with a citrus return and a pleasant mineral note, typical of the Lugana territory.
