The 'Bosco Satrano' of Villa Raiano is a pure Fiano di Avellino, with great freshness, richness, and expressiveness. The Fiano grapes come from a vineyard of one hectare in the municipality of San Michele di Serino in the province of Avellino, in Contrada Bosco Satrano. 4400 vines planted in 2009 are cultivated according to the principles of organic farming, on clay-limestone soils at 510 meters above sea level, of great quality and uniqueness. The vinification takes place entirely in steel tanks and then matures on the fine lees for 12 months in the same fermentation tanks and 12 months in the bottle. The bouquet is wide and exuberant, with aromas of citrus fruits, pineapple, and white peach. On the palate, it is fresh and satisfying; a successful balance between acidity and saltiness, with a full and dry finish.

This land, rich in history and traditions, is the perfect stage for the production of wines that express the full potential of the territory, thanks also to the prestigious DOCG denominations such as Fiano, Greco, and Taurasi.
Villa Raiano bases its production philosophy on a deep respect for tradition, while not giving up on innovation. Attention to detail and artisanal care blend with modern techniques, creating a bridge between the past and the future that is reflected in wines of extraordinary quality. The cultivated grapes, including Fiano, Aglianico, and Greco, are the beating heart of the winery, protagonists of a wine narrative that enhances the uniqueness of the Irpinian terroir.
Among the main labels stands out the Fiano di Avellino Ventidue, a wine that embodies the elegance and complexity typical of this variety. With its refined aromatic notes and enveloping structure, this wine is an invitation to discover the depth and authenticity of the Campanian wine scene.

THE WINE
The 'Bosco Satrano' from Villa Raiano is a pure Fiano di Avellino, characterized by great freshness, richness, and expressiveness. The Fiano grapes come from a one-hectare vineyard in the municipality of San Michele di Serino in the province of Avellino, in Contrada Bosco Satrano. 4400 vines planted in 2009 are cultivated according to the principles of organic farming, on clayey limestone soils at an altitude of 510 meters above sea level, of great quality and uniqueness. The vinification takes place entirely in steel tanks and then ages on the fine lees for 12 months in the same fermentation tanks and 12 months in the bottle. It has a wide and exuberant bouquet, with aromas of citrus, pineapple, and white peach. On the palate, it is fresh and satisfying; a successful balance between acidity and sapidity, with a full and dry finish. It pairs well with first courses of Mediterranean cuisine and vegetarian dishes.
THE COMPANY

Villa Raiano was founded in 1996 in the old factories of the oil mill of the Basso family, who owns the company, in the village of Raiano in the municipality of Serino (AV). The current winery, built in 2009 on top of a hill in the territory of the municipality of San Michele di Serino (AV), is the core of our company. It is a modern structure, perfectly integrated into the surrounding environment, surrounded by vineyards and chestnut woods. From the panoramic terrace, one can overlook the entire valley of the Fiume Sabato, from its source at the foot of Monte Terminio, to the point where it exits the province of Avellino in the municipality of Altavilla Irpina.
